General Cake Care

  • It is recommended for all buttercream cakes to be fridgerated until ready to be cut.

  • Buttercream cakes are not to be left under the sun as the buttercream will melt and ruin your beautiful cake.

    Cake handling

  • Please handle your cake with extra care in order to avoid ruining your cake.

  • Place one hand under the cake box and lightly hold the top of your cake box.

  • Also careful, to not hold the cake to close to your stomach/chest area as it could smear the side of the cake.

  • Even if your cake box comes with handles, do not hold the cake box from the handles, as handles may rip.

    Cake Transporting

  • It is recommended for your cake to be placed on the passanger feet section as it is the most stable and flat surface for the cake.

  • Please AC car before arriving and make sure it is cold to avoid the cake from melting especially during the summer time.

  • Please do not leave your cake inside your car without AC, the inside of your car is always warmer than the outside temperature which can lead to your cake melting.

    Before Slicing

  • Take out your cake from the refridgerator 10/15 minutes before slicing, this will help the cake be soft and moist as your cake has been in the refridgerator.

Removing your cake from the box

  • Slide a thin knife under the cake board, every cake is lightly secured with tape when placed in a cake box.

  • Avoid putting your fingers too close to the cake edge as they might slide and smear into your cake.

    Smash Cake

  • Take our your smash cake from the refridgerator 20/25 minutes before slicing as this will help your buttercream soften and allow for your child to smash the cake and have a beautiful messy photo opportunity.
